Catherine and Campbell’s Big Day by the River

Here is a sneak preview of Catherine and Campbell’s wedding on Friday. It was a lovely day with the ceremony at Weybridge Registry Office followed by lunch at the Oatlands Park hotel and finally the evening reception at Molesey Boat Club. The weather was threatening rain all week but thankfully the rain stayed away all day, which made my job a lot easier.

The wedding was a very relaxed and intimate, Catherine and Campbell are a lovely couple and it was a pleasure to be there. I am very lucky that my work sometimes doesn’t feel like work at all…

Pre-Shoot Fun

I did a pre-wedding shoot on last Sunday for Catherine and Campbell who are getting married on Friday. We were over in Molesey which was a great location.

A pre-wedding shoot is a great way to get to know your clients and find out what
their likes and dislikes are and to make everyone comfortable with the camera,
because there aren’t many people out there who like having their photo’s taken!
And one less thing to worry about on the big day…

Elke and Mark’s Special Day

Here are some shots from a Wedding I did at the beginning of this month at Weybridge Registry Office, for Elke and Mark. It was a very intimate wedding with only immediate
family and so I felt very privileged to be a part of their special day.

Congratulations once again to you both and thank-you for having me.

Family Shoot, Wimbledon

I couldn’t resist putting some photo’s of a shoot I was asked to do last month
for Jyoti, Tony and the gorgeous Kieren.

I was fortunate enough to see them when they were home between ceremony’s
and got to take some great shots of them in different outfits. I even had the chance
to feed Kieren whilst his mum and dad went to get changed in peace and quiet!

It was a wonderful experience, and the family were a joy to work with.

I have a busy month this month so I look forward to catching up with you
all again soon.

Karen’s Surprise Party

This weekend I was asked to photograph a surprise 40th birthday party for Karen,
at first I thought it was a tall order, lots of bad light and people drinking!
However much to my relief a few test shots when I arrived told me that the evening
was going to be a success.

The venue over in Beckenham was beautifully decorated, (Karen’s friend did
an excellent job) and had some great animal print chairs that everyone seemed
to want to take home!

As Karen arrived at her party, she was so shocked at first we thought she’d
never come through the door… but once she did the party went into full swing and
everyone had a great time and I got some lovely photographs as a reminder of such
a special night.

Carl & Genna’s Wedding

Hello and welcome to my blog and a sneak peek at the lovely Carl and Genna’s
wedding photo’s.

It was one of the most varied and fun packed weddings I’ve ever been to, starting
with a civil service at Claydon House in the heart of the Buckinghamshire countryside,
followed by a blessing next door in the wonderful 13th Century All Saints Church
and then onto the reception at Woburn safari park. where everyone enjoyed seeing
the animals, riding on swan boats and even jumping on the bouncy castles
(mainly the adults i might add).

The day went really well and having the chance to visit both venues beforehand
gave me a really good insight into which would be the best shots, from the best angles,
in varying lights(well you can never guarantee a sunshiny day)! Luckily for me, I know
the bride and groom very well (Genna being my new sister-in-law) so we had a great
rapport and made the day go very smoothly and we had a lot of fun along the way.

My wonderful other half and gorgeous boy were on hand to help out but they could
enjoy themselves as things went (thankfully)! according to plan.

It was very nice to be able to put the cameras down in the evening and dance the
night away and have a few drinks, work over, it was time to relax.

I just want to say once again, congratulations and thank-you for a lovely day
to Carl and Genna, you both looked amazing and everyone had a great time and
even the rain stayed away for the majority of the day.
